Garden design

A kid friendly design

Located in Brackenbury

The layout plan made in Vectorworks shows a separate section made for kids: a sunken trampoline to be incorporated into the garden design by wooden steps in the gravel and planting in-between.

The smaller circular layout of the lawn will help to interlock the shapes in the garden, also creates a small playing space in the sun for kids. The bike area will be covered with planting.

Two years after the planting, the evergreen shrubs now cover the bike-holding area, creating a tidy space with a smart storage area behind them. They also give a green background behind the trampoline.

The planting in-between the gravel including flowering groundcovers and ferns make it more interesting to wander around the wooden steps while kids are waiting for their turn on the trampoline.
