Rustic garden from ruins

Located in Hammersmith

Sometimes an existing feature in the garden is a state of disrepair – but we can make it into its former glory. This brick archway was our starting point for the new design.

The 3D design shows how we worked with the existing feature, connecting its shape and material with the rest of the layout. Using reclaimed bricks for the raised beds will tie in with the arch.

After laying the new lawn, the garden already looks greener than it was before, but it will still need time for the planting to establish and reach the desired rustic effect.

Two years after the planting, the garden looks well-established, healthy green and lush. Careful planning and soil preparation always pays off at the end creating a good base for the growing plants.
